Exciting career opportunity for a Financial Accountant currently working towards or newly CA/CPA qualified. Your new role reporting directly to the CFO will assist in full financial actively, you will also have the opportunity to provide process improvements due to the fast-growing nature of the business, making this role an excellent career opportunity!
Your responsibilities will include:
Ownership of daily and weekly cashflow forecast preparation, prior to review with Financial Controller.
Assist with Invoice and Trade Finance facilities reconciliation, audit and forecasting, including future drawdown requirements based on cashflow forecasting.
Supporting Financial Controller in delivery of monthly management accounts, including commentary and insights across sales, inventory and overheads.
Act as escalation point for Accounts Receivable, including management of overdue debtors and building relationships with customers.
Support and mentor offshore AP/AR team members, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering team training as required.
Establish in-house processes for all applicable statutory returns, including BAS, FBT etc. Timely preparation and reconciliation of all returns for review by Financial Controller.
Effectively Business Partnering, leveraging accounting knowledge and experience to improve financial reporting, controls and efficiencies.
Understanding the importance of a strong controls environment and identifying gaps in existing processes.

To be successful you have a minimum of 5 years experience in full-function finance role, newly qualified or working towards your CPA/CA, now looking for the next step in your career. You have a positive and proactive approach with strong communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail. You have strong computer skills including Xero, Excel. You have strong commercial acumen and experienced working ideally with a medium to large business.
