This year, in lieu of corporate Easter gifts, we are supporting vulnerable women, including women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
Sadly, nationwide domestic and family violence is a regular occurrence. Police data shows that there's an average of 5,000 domestic violence call-outs every week in Australia, that's 1 every 2 minutes. Working together and collaboratively pushing for change as a community will help reduce these statistics.
JOIN US IN SUPPORTING CHANGE
This Easter we wanted to lift the spirits of the women and children currently supported by shelters across the Northern Beaches and North Shore. Our Easter charities are:
Women & Children First and the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter
As a local Northern Beaches business, we see the tireless work these charities do for the community, and we are in awe!
YOU CAN SHOW YOUR SUPPORT THIS EASTER
Currently, it costs around $800,000pa to run each shelter. With funding predominantly raised by the local community your decision to donate will directly support women (and their children) in their journey to freedom.
